The Legend of Kas, the Betrayer.
Once there was a Greater Sorcereress named Kas. Kas was angry with her elderly master, a Wizard named Nebacharonius. Over time Kas developed an obsession for revenge! So she made a pact with a Lord of Chaos. In exchange for her devotion, the Chaos Lord taught Kas how to imprison Nebacharonius and suck out his intelligence.
One night while Nebacharonius was pre-occupied in his tower with calculations for a new spell, the Chaos Lord rowed Kas across the Wizard's magnetic moat. Kas penetrated the tower and imprisoned her former master with a beguiling dance.
Kas began to probe Nebacharonius’s brain with a Mind Gem, fallen from the stars. The Mind Gem sucked out all of his knowledge, leaving poor Nebacharonius to subsist as a feeble-minded beggar in the city state of Falloon. Since then Kas was known as “The Betrayer”.
